The El Matrabb Memorial Awards Once again, Jeannette Jardine of Aimbri Arabians is offering two High-Point Awards at the Saskatchewan Arabian Extravaganza in memory of her late stallion. El Matrabb (Al Metrabbi++ x Ana Gayah) (1987 - 2003) was bred by Gleannloch Farms in Texas and purchased by Aimbri Arabians in 1995. He was a Champion in Halter and Performance, with 2 Egyptian Event Top Tens, a Region 17 Top 5, and numerous Class A Championships in halter, as well as multiple CEF and EC Championships and Reserves in Performance. El Matrabb was also a sire of Champions with get across the USA and Western Canada, as well as those in Qatar, United Arab Emirates and Israel. Registration is free. - Points are acquired from BOTH shows.
Qualifications are as follows: High Point Stallion Award Open to any Purebred Arabian Stallion or Colt of ANY Bloodlines. Points can be accrued in any discipline at the shows. Points are awarded as follows: Champion - 25 points Reserve Champion - 15 points 1st - 10 points 2nd - 7 points 3rd - 5 points 4th - 3 points 5th - 1 point Also continuing this year, Aimbri Arabians is wanting to promote the VERSITILE ARABIAN, and most especially the VERSITILE STRAIGHT EGYPTIAN ARABIAN HORSE and additional points will be awarded as follows: For the HIGH POINT STALLION AWARD - An additional 25 points will be awarded to any stallion competing in BOTH halter and performance For the HIGH POINT EGYPTIAN AWARD - An additional 25 points will be awarded to any applicant competing in BOTH halter and performance. Also, an additional 25 points for any horse that is Straight Egyptian, (As defined by the Pyramid Society on the AHA site) . ALL judged classes at both the shows will count towards the High Point Award, including Training and Green Horse classes. Halter classes will include Showmanship and Get-Of-Sire/Produce-Of-Dam classes. Competitors, PLEASE Sign up for these awards when registering for the shows!
